VSA is pleased to offer a range of qualifications in Social Services to those wishing to develop their own knowledge and skills, or that of their teams, including the HNC in Social Services. VSA's Qualifications Centre has been delivering qualifications successfully for over 25 years.
We work closely with Qualifications Scotland to ensure that our qualifications meet the highest standard and we have been involved in the development and design of various qualifications, including the Next Gen HNC Social Services.

Part-Time Fee Grant from Student Awards Agency for Scotland (SAAS)
Some of our qualifications are eligible for the Part Time Fee Grant. This scheme can provide more than £500 and up to £1195 a year towards the cost of tuition fees. Your annual salary must be under £25000 to qualify.
Totum Student Cards
Learners on some of our qualifications are eligible for Student cards through Totum. Totum offer thousands of discounts with popular retailers for a small annual fee.
This new HNC is suitable for support workers and supervisors from across social services. The HNC is an academic qualification with practical elements delivered through a part time/distance learning model.

The Scottish Vocational Qualification in Care Services Leadership and Management at SCQF level 10 recognises the knowledge and skills required from candidates working in management within the care sector.
We offer level 7 and 9 qualifications in SVQ Social Services (Children and Young People).
We offer level 6, 7, and 9 qualifications in SVQ Social Services and Healthcare.
