Volunteers required at The Mercat Bookshop

VSA's Mercat Bookshop, situated on Aberdeen's Castlegate, provides the North East with access to a wide range of second hand books, vinyls, CDs and DVDs at an affordable price.

Our bookshop is run almost entirely by volunteers who love giving up their time to provide the local community with new and old books, DVDs and CDs.

All of the items in our bookshop are donated by members of the public and all the proceeds go directly to our services supporting some of the most vulnerable people across the North East.

We are currently looking for volunteers to join our team - can YOU spare a few hours and play a part in the success that the bookshop has achieved over the years? If so, we would love to hear from you.

Available shifts are:

Monday - Friday

• 3pm - 5pm

Saturdays

• 10am - 1pm
• 1pm - 5pm
