What type of volunteering is available with VSA?

Volunteers are at the heart of VSA and we have a wide variety of opportunities available across our organisation. You could volunteer at one of our services; provide event support to our fundraising team or help us at our farm. We have something for everyone!

To start your volunteer journey with VSA, simply select from one of the below options:

Corporate Volunteer Days

Corporate Volunteer Days

We offer corporate volunteering opportunities through our corporate partnerships for businesses to get involved in various projects and events that support VSA’s mission. By participating in these initiatives, companies can give back to the community, boost employee morale, and enhance their corporate social responsibility efforts.

Individual Volunteering

Individual Volunteering

Get involved in our fun challenges by volunteering. Perhaps you want to help marshal a fun-filled sporting activity, cheering on participants, handing out medals, or utilising your specialist skills - we have plenty of opportunities for you to get involved in.

Service Volunteers

Service Volunteers

Volunteering in a local charity means you'll be working closely with a team of passionate and dedicated people who are working hard to make a difference. Although you may only be asked to help a couple days a week, your support within our services is invaluable.

We have seen a significant commitment from our employees to support our work with VSA and our pledge to support Linn Moor School.

Our teams have volunteered to create the Ithaca ‘sensory’ Garden, clearing ground, erecting fences and planting shrubs and trees, - using different plants and materials which help cognitive, emotional, physical, social and communication development.”
