VSA Fuel Fund

VSA’s Fuel Fund will be closed on Thursday, 28th November, until further notice. We will not be able to take any further applicants after this date; however, please check our website for updates in the new year.

If you have applied before this date, your application is still being processed, and our team will get in touch with you in due course.

The VSA Fuel Fund is for people who are in urgent need of financial help to pay for their energy bills. Our fund is currently closed, but please keep an eye out for updates in the New Year.

The cost-of-living crisis and the increased price of gas and electricity are causing a huge financial strain on people, and sadly some families are having to make decisions such as heating their homes or feeding their children. If you are struggling to pay for your gas and electricity, our team is here to help you with our fuel fund to get through this winter.

To apply for our fuel fund we have an online form where we will require further documents to be able to complete your application.

My daughter has additional support needs and does not cope well with being cold so having this grant it takes the pressure off of thinking where I am going to get the extra money to be able to top up my gas and electricity, especially with being in the house more over the festive period.

My daughter doesn’t sleep very much at all so it’s not just during the day the house needs to be at a suitable temperature. I was panicking so much about how I was going to be able to afford it and VSA has taken that pressure off me, so thank you from the bottom of my heart."
