Financial advice and support is available if you are struggling to make ends meet
The Caring for someone | NHS 24 leaflet advises NHS 24 provides a range of services to support carers, It highlights Care Information Scotland which is a phone, webchat and website service operated by NHS 24, providing information and advice to support carers - including young carers, across Scotland and has details on looking after mental wellbeing & link to mental health support.
This leaflet is also available in an Easy Read format and other languages (Arabic, British Sign Language (BSL), Hindi, Kurdish (Sorani), Polish, Punjabi, Romanian, Simplified Chinese (Mandarin), Slovak, Spanish, Ukrainian, Urdu)
This Unpaid Carer's Information Pack, from the Aberdeenshire Health and Social Care Partnership, is for adult and young (under the age of 18) unpaid carers who care for someone who may not be able to care for themselves. Based on feedback, It contains information that would be found useful to have in one place.
This booklet has been produced to help you identify if you are a carer, to signpost you to support that is available locally and to help you decide if you would benefit from an Adult Carer Support Plan (ACSP), which replaces a Carers’ Assessment.

Carers Trust works to transform the lives of unpaid carers. It partners with its UK-wide network of local carer organisations to provide funding and support, deliver innovative and evidence-based programmes, raise awareness, and influence policy. Carer’s Trust vision is that unpaid carers are heard and valued, with access to support, advice and resources to enable them to live fulfilled lives.
"Caring for You" is new toolkit launched by Carers Trust Scotland, full of useful information, advice and additional online resources for Unpaid Carers.

We support the #carerscantwait campaign from the National Carer Organisations - representing unpaid carers across the country, as well as providing advice and resources.

Dementia Circle is an Alzheimer Scotland project that helps people to find, test and share feedback on products and services, that help to make everyday living with a long term condition easier. By testing out a product or service, and giving your unbiased feedback, you are helping other people like you to find things that can also help them at home.
