One Flame, One Community: Carrying Care Together
Inspired by the Commonwealth Games 2026 in Glasgow, this was a service wide initiative uniting staff, service users, and volunteers through community spirit and connection.
From Monday 13th to Friday 17th July each day we walked from one service to the next, starting from our Castle Street offices and ending at Linn Moor School.
Everyone across all our services worked hard creating torches, designing their cheer stations, and getting ready to join in the fun.
5 days, 20.6 miles, and 65,454 steps* later our VSA Torch Relay 2026 is now complete!
We are so proud of everyone who took part – whether you walked, cheered people on, designed torches, or anything else, you were all incredible, and it was wonderful seeing all the services come together.
