Good luck to our London Marathon Runners!

We are delighted to once again be represented at the world famous London Marathon this month.

Our seven runners will join over 40,000 participants along the 26.2 route from Greenwich to The Mall finish line. This year, the event returns to it's traditional April slot.

Not only will our team set out to achieve something incredible at one of the world's most sought after marathons, their fundraising in aid of VSA will play a vital part in changing the lives of vulnerable children and adults.

Meet our 2023 runners...

Nicole Fraser

28 year old Nicole has been training hard for what will be her first ever marathon alongside best friend Lisa - who will also be running next week in aid of VSA.

“I cannot wait to cross that finish line with Lisa - I have enjoyed making so many memories with my best friend these past few months as well as supporting an amazing local charity.”

Nicole and Lisa have together raised over an incredible £4000 so far!

She will be cheered on by her partner Bradley and their 1 year old son Jude, as well as her family making the trip to London.

Lisa Stephen

Nurse Practitioner Lisa will also be running her first ever marathon, alongside Nicole.

We are truly grateful for Lisa's support. "I see first hand in my line of work the importance of the services that VSA provide, particularly for our elderly population, and was delighted to be given the opportunity to fundraise for VSA whilst running my first ever marathon with my childhood best friend!"

Lisa and Nicole's friends, family and the whole community have got behind their fundraising events that they organised in the run up to the big day itself - amazing!

Niall Mark

Having taken part in ultra marathons in the past, Niall is no stranger to long distance running - but he is relishing the unique opportunity to run the famous 26.2 miles around London next Sunday.

An employee of Ithaca Energy, we are delighted to have Niall on board and his fundraising in aid of VSA has already topped £2000!

Niall has set himself a challenge of completing next week’s marathon in under 3 hours - can he do it?

"My goal on Sunday is to set an example to my two boys as well as raise valuable funds for a local charity".

Good luck for Sunday, Neil!

Antony, 43, who works in Digital Marketing, will be cheered on in London by his wife Julie.
