We are delighted that bp will represent VSA at this year’s Virtual London Marathon, as part of their continued support to our Changing Lives mental health campaign. bp employees Mike Crawford and Iain Cameron recently visited our new mental health centre on Abergeldie Road to see for themselves how this state of the art facility will change the lives of people within our city.

Kathryn McKee, bp Scotland Head of Communications: ‘It’s great to see VSA’s outstanding facility nearing completion and bp is pleased to be playing a small part in bringing about this important new mental health service for Aberdeen. Everyone at bp North Sea is rooting for Iain and Mike and grateful for their personal commitment to this special cause."

Mike and Iain will join 50,000 runners across the UK in running 26.2 miles within 24 hours on Sunday October 3rd, in a new event created by London Marathon Events.

With 1 in 3 adults in Aberdeen alone being diagnosed with a mental health condition each year, VSA thank bp for their incredible support.
