VSA's Mercat Bookshop, situated on Aberdeen's Castlegate, provides the North East with access to a wide range of second hand books, vinyls, CDs and DVDs at an affordable price.
Our bookshop is run almost entirely by volunteers who love giving up their time to provide the local community with new and old books, DVDs and CDs.

Donations Welcome!
All of the items in our bookshop are donated by members of the public and all the proceeds go directly to our services supporting some of the most vulnerable people across Aberdeen and the North-East of Scotland. Book donations can be made during opening hours. It may also be possible for our team to arrange a collection of larger donations within the Aberdeen area.
