VSA Statement: Run Balmoral Cardnet Transactions

We are aware of the current issues surrounding contactless donations made to VSA at the recent Run Balmoral event.

On Saturday, April 23rd, during Run Balmoral, VSA collected donations at our promotional tent via our contactless payment device.

There have been and continue to be technical issues concerning the device used, meaning that not all transactions were processed on the day of donation.

This is a technical issue that firmly lies with the supplier of the system, Cardnet, and Lloyds Banking Group.

These transactions are now starting to be processed from the bank accounts of those who donated on the day.

VSA sincerely apologises for any inconvenience and confusion. At present, we are working on rectifying this issue with Cardnet and Lloyds Banking Group.
