Easter Anguston Farm

Easter Anguston is an operational farm which is open to the public and also serves as a training facility for adults with learning difficulties. We are situated just off of the A93 Banchory road in Peterculter.  The farm comprises 70 acres of arable land, used as a working farm plus 20 acres of woodland.  Easter Anguston farm is open all year round to the public between 10am and 4pm Monday through Sunday.

The service aims to provide meaningful placements to adults with learning difficulties, who are supported by the staff team to learn and develop their vocational knowledge, skills and understanding of working in a farm setting. Strong emphasis is placed on developing their personal, social and land based skills through working towards certificates within various areas; such as horticulture, livestock, arable farming, rural skills, catering and conservation. Each trainee has a person centred, aims orientated training support plan which they are supported to compile and review with the Key-working staff.

The farm is also open to the public and provides the following visitor attractions:

•    Café    (open Wednesday to Sunday)
•    Farm Shop
•    Garden Centre
•    Children’s play area
•    Animals (goats, pigs, sheep, mini donkeys, Alpacas, Shetland ponies, Ducks, Chickens, rabbits, ferrets,
