Support Worker, Cloverfield Grove (Bucksburn)

Are you passionate about helping us provide the best of care to change the lives of those using our services?

We are currently recruiting Support Workers at our Cloverfield Grove service based in Bucksburn.  Joining our dynamic team, you will provide a professional, caring and effective service to our service users to ensure they receive the best of care.  In return, you will be provided with extensive training opportunities and as an accredited SVQ centre, we can provide support to help gain qualifications. 

Any prior experience would be welcome but is not essential as full on the job training will be provided.  You must however be willing to undertake an SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) if you do not already hold one.  These posts will involve working to a rota over 7 days and include a mixture of early and late shifts.  We welcome applications from those who would like the opportunity to work within social care or those simply seeking a change of direction.

In return, you will be provided with extensive training opportunities and as an accredited SVQ centre, we can provide support to help gain qualifications.

Catering Assistant, Crosby House

We are looking for a part-time Catering Assistant to work for 20 hours per week, working across a 7 day rota, at our fantastic Crosby House service in the heart of Aberdeen.  In this role, you will provide support and assistance in the kitchen and dining room and carry out some basic housekeeping tasks. You require basic food preparation skills, good communication skills and flexible attitude to work.

Administrator - Broomhill Park

Do you have proven experience in an administrative role?  Are you keen to work for an organisation helping to change lives across Aberdeen?  If so, this role could be for you.

Support Worker (Late Shifts), Cloverfield Grove

We are currently recruiting an additional Support Worker at our Cloverfield Grove service in Bucksburn.  At VSA, we strive to deliver the best of care in order to change the lives of some of the most vulnerable people in our city and our services consistently receive high grades from the Care Inspectorate. As part of our front-line care workforce, you will provide a professional, caring and effective service to those within our care.  In return, you will be provided with extensive training opportunities and as an accredited SVQ centre, we can provide support to help gain qualifications. 

Any prior experience would be welcome but is not essential as full on the job training will be provided.  You must however be willing to undertake an SCQF Level 6 in Social Services and Healthcare (or equivalent) if you do not already hold one.  This post involves working to a rota over 7 days undertaking four 5 hour late shifts (20 hours per week).

Waking Nights Support Worker, Millbank House

An opportunity has arisen as part of our Mental Health Service at Millbank House for a Night Shift Support Worker.  Working on a 4 week rolling rota from 10.00pm – 8.00am, you will work 20 hours per week.  This role is offered on a fixed term basis until 2020.

This rewarding role involves providing a professional and caring service to our service users and although prior experience would be welcome, it is not essential as full training on the job will be provided.  We welcome applications from those working in social care currently as well as those who are seeking a change of direction and are passionate about making a difference to people’s lives.
