CUP café opens this July at Easter Anguston Farm!

We are delighted to announce that local café CUP will be running the coffee shop at Easter Anguston Farm when it reopens to the public from the 1st of July, and 10% of all profits will go to VSA.

CUP, also based at Little Belmont Street, have refurbished the current farm cafe to offer visitors the same tea salon experience they have become popular for - serving delicious hot and cold snacks and drinks.

The local café, while offering its delicious food and drinks, will also enable visitors to further support the charity as 10% of all profits from the café will be donated to VSA.

Angela Kozak, CUP owner: “When VSA approached me about opening CUP at Easter Anguston I was absolutely delighted. To be able to do what we love to do and support such a great charity at the same time is brilliant. After the last couple of years, we are excited to be part of the reopening and can’t wait to welcome everyone back. VSA is such a long-established charity within the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area and offers great care and support to vulnerable children and adults. I can’t wait to see you all at Easter Anguston, and its great facilities.”

Easter Anguston Farm is an operational farm and local community resource which serves as a training facility for adults with learning difficulties and other additional support needs. Due to the pandemic, the charity closed the farm for the majority of the past two years to keep the vulnerable people they care for safe.

Jennifer Mitchell, Director of External Relations VSA, added: “ We are absolutely thrilled to have CUP onboard to operate the café at Easter Anguston; we have always been very proud of what the farm provides to the community and the addition of CUP at the farm will further enhance what we can offer our friends and supporters of Easter Anguston. The commercial partnership between VSA and CUP will mean that for anything purchased at the Café, 10% of all profits will be donated to changing the lives of vulnerable children and adults.”

“It will also be great to welcome all of our amazing supporters back to the farm, and I know our trainees, colleagues, and animals are excited to see everyone again.”

Easter Anguston Farm will be fully reopen from Friday 1st of July. It will also have some exciting events happening across the summer, which will soon be released on our dedicated farm page as well as our social media channels.

"After the last couple of years, we are excited to be part of the reopening and can’t wait to welcome everyone back. VSA is such a long-established charity within the Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire area and offers great care and support to vulnerable children and adults."
