A Person-Centred Care Home
Our main aim is to encourage and promote independence by providing person-centred care and support based on individual needs and requirements.
Crosby House is managed in four sections over the ground floor and first floor, with a main bathroom and shower room facilities in each section. All residents are encouraged to bring in their own furniture and personal items to make their rooms personal to them and to promote familiarity. We have a handyman available to hang pictures, mirrors and televisions as well as any other adjustments or requirements a resident might have.
Access to the first floor is provided by a fully serviced lift for the use of residents and visitors. Crosby House is accessible for people with disabilities as all rooms have level access and all doors are suitable for wheelchair access. Each floor is open plan and has a communal lounge area and dining area. Each resident’s room opens onto the open plan areas.
The lounge areas have television, video, computers with internet access, and CD player available for residents to use. The care home is surrounded by beautiful mature gardens which have colourful displays of flowers and shrubs and is fully enclosed.
