Working for VSA

Our various roles include care staff, administration staff, and education staff. The majority of our care staff work in our residential units with a particular client group. We provide help and support for older people, young families facing hardship, people with a history of mental illness, people with learning disabilities, and children or young people with special needs. VSA offers competitive rates of pay.

Staff Development

VSA is an Equal Opportunities employer committed to staff training, and holds Investor in People status. Ongoing training and development is available to staff, opening up new possibilities for staff and ensuring a high standard of care. Care staff are trained to the level of SVQ and HNC qualifications required for the job; training is in-house, provided by VSA’s own SQA accredited Training Team.

Staffing Requirements

VSA continues to recruit for all parts of our agency as required. We also welcome speculative applications.

The agency has registered with Disclosure Scotland and police checks are carried out on all new staff and volunteers, providing added safety and confidence in the provision of care services.
