Practice Teacher - Full Time
VSA has a challenging and rewarding post to develop and maintain a sustainable model of Practice Teaching within the agency. Working within the Adult&Community Services Directorate, the successful candidate will be responsible for the development and provision of practice learning opportunities. You will be a self motivated individual, able to work to your own initiative, but working closely with service managers / link supervisors to ensure students are provided with effective placements. The successful candidate should hold:- Practice Teaching Award Diploma in Social Work or equivalent Sound working knowledge of social work training issues Sound knowledge of legislation and policy Ability to support Link Supervisors and delegating work to them accordingly. Knowledge and work experience in the field of vulnerable adults

Practice Teacher - Part Time

The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and provision of practice learning opportunities. The successful candidate should hold:- Practice Teaching Award Diploma in Social Work or equivalent Sound working knowledge of social work training issues Sound knowledge of legislation and policy Ability to support Link Supervisors and delegating work to them accordingly. Knowledge and work experience in the field of Children with additional support needs is desirable.

Student Support Co-ordinator
A new post has recently been established at Linn Moor School, Peterculter for a Student Support Co-ordinator working 30 hours per week where you will contribute to the effective provision of an integrated, inclusive and quality service to meet the care, social and educational needs of the students with specific responsibility for promoting and developing the use of ICT equipment as an educational tool to enhance the delivery of the 24 hour curriculum. With a good standard of education, you will be an effective communicator with good organisational, administrative and ICT skills. Self confident and motivated, you will have experience of working within a busy environment, ideally a school or further education establishment. In addition, you will have experience and knowledge of ICT equipment with the ability to train others, coupled with relevant administrative experience

Senior Support Worker - (working with Adults)
We require a Senior Support Worker for 26 hours per week to co-ordinate and contribute to the provision of quality services to meet the needs of service users, according to agreed VSA standards, policies and regulatory requirements whilst monitoring the effective use of staffing resources. We are looking for someone who is self confident, approachable and well organised with the ability to work well on their own initiative and as part of a team with the following additional attributes.

Support Worker - (working with Adults)
Due to internal promotion, an opportunity has arisen at Millbank House, 139 Hardgate, for a Support Worker for 26 hours per week to contribute towards the provision of a quality service to meet the needs of Service Users. You must have the willingness and ability to achieve an SVQ Level II in Social Care and have experience of working in a busy environment, be a good communicator and team worker with the ability to write short reports.
