VSA's Photography Competition 2007
 Competition is now closed. VSA are giving local budding photographers the chance to capture the perfect photograph for their 2007 Christmas Cards. VSA are leaving the creativity up to you - whether a wintry local scene, an arty shot, or a creative design, the choice is yours. There are two age groups in the competition 12-17 and 18+, and each winner will receive 300 pounds courtesy of the competition main sponsor the Evening Express, and an enlarged print of their winning photograph courtesy of Jessops, Bridge Street, Aberdeen, which will be framed by Peacock Visual Arts, Castle Street, Aberdeen. The winner of each category will also get the opportunity to go out for the day with an Evening Express photographer and see what a typical day is like for them. Each winner will see their image reproduced on VSA's 2007 Christmas cards, which will go on sale to the general public and local companies. Submission couldn't be easier - you can either enter online (on-line application form), post your image on CD or a hardcopy to VSA, 38 Castle Street, Aberdeen, AB11 5YU, or e-mail your entry to fundraising@vsa.org.uk. All entries must be a high resolution JPEG (no larger than 10MB), and both landscape or portrait formats will be accepted. All entrants should include their name, address, phone number/e-mail, age, and title and description of photograph with each submission. A maximum of two entries can be submitted per person.
