Des will speak on his presidential theme - Valuing Social Care - at the seminar which takes place at 5.30pm on Thursday 22nd November at VSA's Broomhill Activity Centre, 197 Broomhill Road, Aberdeen. The seminar is aimed at people who work at any level in a social care setting, from gardeners to managers. Following recent debate on the benefits of residential care as opposed to home care, Mr Kelly will be promoting residential care as a worthwhile service to be retained for the future, provided it is of good quality.
