DNV's Winter Ball Proceeds Support VSA

Social care charity VSA were delighted to learn that they would receive the proceeds of a raffle to be held at DNV's Winter Ball, but they couldn't believe their luck when the cheque handed over was for a huge GBP3,910!

A total of GBP1,955 was raised by DNV staff through the charity raffle and auction at the Ball, which took place in February, and this sum was matched by the company.

Sheila Munro from VSA's Fundraising Team received the cheque and said, "This is a fantastic donation which exceeds all our expectations! We'd like to thank everyone at DNV Aberdeen, for their generosity which will help us to continue supporting individuals and families, young and old in the local community."

VSA's caring work touches the lives of thousands of people living in the city and shire every year - supporting children and families in disadvantaged situations; older people becoming frailer and more isolated; and those with disabilities or mental health problems.
