VSA's Easter Anguston Farm Open Weekend

1 May 2007

VSA's Easter Anguston Farm will be holding its annual Open Weekend on Saturday 12th and Sunday 13th May. This is a great opportunity to stock up on plants and shrubs, explore local farm life, and enjoy a great family day out! The farm is part of VSA's Adult and Community Services and provides training in many aspects of farming, horticulture and conservation for adults with learning disabilities.

Packed with activities to suit all ages, the open weekend runs between 10am and 4.30pm on both days. A wide range of Alpine, bedding and patio plants will be on sale, and also shrubs, hanging baskets and tubs. The weekend's entertainment will include the Nature Trail, Countryside Education Centre, tractor & trailer tours of the farm to see farm animals in their natural setting, and not forgetting home bakes, teas and coffees! In addition, there's Face Painting on Saturday and the Culter Pipe Band on Sunday.

The Open Weekend has FREE entry and FREE car parking, so why not come along and support this great local charity. Easter Anguston Farm is located one mile west of Peterculter, and is signposted off the main road to Banchory.
