VSA Christmas Cards now on sale!
All three of the cards were designed and hand-crafted by pupils of VSA Linn Moor School. The school provides residential education for children with additional support needs arising primarily from autistic spectrum disorders. |

Young carers to enjoy special fun day
VSA Young Carers' Project, in partnership with Aberdeen City Council, have organised a special fun day for young carers at the Richard Donald Suite, Pittodrie Stadium on Saturday 13th June from 2.30pm until 5.30pm. The event will include a variety of games, a Big Brother-style diary room, arts and crafts and a disco. |

Drop in for Coffee at Ruthrieston House!
VSA's Ruthrieston House will be holding a Coffee Morning on Saturday 13th June 2009 from 10am to 12 noon, at 199 Broomhill Road, Aberdeen. There will be a number of stalls, including home-baking, bottles, bric-a-brac and a raffle. |

Local social care charity VSA is delighted to announce that BP will be the main sponsor of their annual ball, which takes place at the Beach Ballroom on Friday 6th November 2009. The VSA Ball has been a major fundraising event for VSA for more than 10 years and this is the fifth year that BP has been the main sponsor. |

VSA's Linn Moor School is celebrating a very positive Inspection Report released today by the Care Commission and HM Inspectorate of Education (HMIE). The integrated inspection, conducted in March 2009, praised the school for 'improving the life chances of young people by helping them to manage anxieties so that they can learn and achieve'. |

Married with two grown-up sons, John brings a wealth of experience to the post, having already worked as Acting Farm Manager for eight months and previously as Assistant Farm Manager and Support Worker. |
