When you give your time and money to VSA, you become part of Aberdeen's major social care charity. With your support, we can help thousands of individuals and families, young and old each year, by providing the best of care.

Take up the fundraising challenge! Your fundraising doesn't have to be time consuming or elaborate. Organising something that is easy and that you will enjoy is all you have to do. There are plenty of hints and tips on this site and remember to check out our A-Z of Fundraising Ideas to get you started.

By giving time or money, you will be helping people who may never be able to thank you. On behalf of them - thank you, you are making a real difference.

How to help

There are hundreds of ways you can get involved.

Organise a fundraising event such as a coffee morning, a quiz night, a golf day or a sponsored swim. There are lots of ideas in our getting started section.
You could take part in one of our challenge or special events.
Buy or sell VSA pin badges.
Get family, friends and colleagues to help with your fundraising.

Getting Started

No skills required

Fundraising doesn't require any special skills or experience. The most simple ideas and events can be turned into an opportunity to raise money. If you're already holding a birthday party or running a race, why not raise funds for VSA at the same time? And if you are planning to organise an event, make it something that you enjoy doing. Think about the people you know and the connections you have at home, work, friends and family. Give yourself plenty of time to make arrangements and remember to check dates try not to hold your event around other major national and local events.
