What can BSS do for you?
To ensure that BSS offer appropriate support to commissioning organisations, we ask that your organisation agrees and signs up to a working agreement. This details BSS' expectations of your organisation and BSS responsibilities.
Organisations are authorised to deliver the approach by BSS, who is responsible for the training and approval of instructors and the course content
Courses BSS can offer:

Two day basic programme for direct care staff

Four day instructor programme for people who wish to train staff within their own organisation. To attend the four day Instructor course staff must meet the criteria specified in the BSS Instructor Person Specification. This includes completion of the basic training programme and the completion of a one day emergency first aid and presentation skills training courses.

Small holds programme for instructors working with children or small adults

Supplementary / Restrictive Interventions taught only on approval from BSS Instructor Trainer group and Practice Advisory Committee.

One day Instructor recertification.
