Children and Family Services

VSA's Children & Family Services incorporates Aberdeen Children's Society, Linn Moor School and Richmondhill House and provides help to families on low incomes in times of crisis, support to children with special needs and families experiencing the emotional distress of break-up. We aim to enable children to have the childhood many of us took for granted.

The services are based at a number of locations across Aberdeen, including VSA's offices on the Castlegate, Aberdeen Children's Society Maisie Munro Centre, Richmondhill House in Richmondhill Place, and Linn Moor School in Peterculter. Some services are mainly for families in Aberdeen and the surrounding area, whilst Linn Moor School and Richmondhill House help children and families across the country.

Aberdeen Children's Society provides community services to children and families in Aberdeen. The services provided within this area include counselling services for children and families, toy library, integrated playgroup, Saturday fun clubs, after school clubs and holiday play schemes.
