Carers News
The Carers News is produced on a quarterly basis to provide up-to-date information to carers throughout Grampian. We have been producing the Carers News since the inception of the Carers Centre in 1994, originally a few hundred were photocopied on 4 A4 sheets, now the Carers News is 16 bound pages and we are producing approximately 7,000 copies per issue. Although the printing is done by a printer the content and layout are all done in-house at the Carers Centre. Here you can access each issue since Autumn 2001. It is an historical reference to the work of VSA Carers Centre and the projects throughout Grampian, and it also follows the national picture of developments in Carers issues.

Guides
Disability benefit forms such as Attendance Allowance and Disability Living Allowance can be quite daunting to complete. Therefore, we have produced the guides to assist carers, and the cared-for, to complete these forms. The guide includes a page by page explanation and also examples of how taking a diary of the difficulties or the support someone has or needs can help complete some of the more difficult questions.
