Adult and Community Services

VSA's Adult & Community Services which incorporates the St Aubin's Project, Easter Anguston Farm and VSA Carers Services work with a wide range of people in the local community. We aim to build self-confidence and independence, helping people to get the most from life.
Our services comprise of three main areas:
Carers' Services
Our Carers' Services include the Carers Centre in Belmont Street, and the Young Carers Centre in King Street, Aberdeen. In addition to this, we have specific workers tasked in the areas of mental health and learning disabilities. VSA has a range of other support and outreach services available to carers outwith Aberdeen which are responsive to the needs of the people using them and the communities that they are in.
Our Carers' Services are for anyone of any age who helps a relative, friend or neighbour who cannot manage without their support and has taken on an unpaid caring role in addition to their existing commitments.
We provide information, advice and support through a range of services. Further information on the services provided by the centre and the outreach projects, as well as national information, is available by contacting VSA's Aberdeen Carers Centre on 01224 646677.

Support Services
Support Services offer a range of outreach based services to a wide service user group covered by 'Mental Health', from Weekend Day Care (supporting carers of people with dementia) through to the Supporting People Team who provide Housing Support to people with dementia, and 'Connect' our Mental Health Befriending Scheme.
