Aberdeen Children's Society - Supporting children with additional support needs

Children with disabilities sometimes miss out on the fun, freedom and social development other children enjoy. At our Playgroup and selection of Clubs, children can meet, mix and enjoy themselves like other youngsters while their parents enjoy a short break.

Our Development Officer helps to ensure children with special needs are supported to join in a range of mainstream activities according to their interests.

The Toy Library is free to join and is open to all parents, grandparents, playgroups, childminders etc within Aberdeen City. It lends a wide range of toys for pre-school children as well as specialist play equipment for children with special needs (link to Toy library)
