Who are we?

BSS Practice Advisory Committee (PAC)

This is the advisory group which guides the working practice of BSS staff, agrees the policies and procedure deals with complaints and ratifies the decisions of the Instructor Trainer group to support the continued development of the BSS approach. The members of the PAC are representatives from the six original voluntary sector organisations who committed resources both financial and personnel to establish the BSS training Centre. These six organisations are :

• Archway

• Camphill Rudolf Steiner Schools
• Cornerstone Community Care
• Inspire Partnership Through Life

BSS Instructor Trainer Group

This group are accredited by BILD and certificated by BSS to train in organisations across Scotland and Northern Ireland. Individually each Instructor trainer must meet the BSS personal specification requirements for an Instructor Trainer and undergo BSS Instructor Trainer recertification process on an annual basis. This group lead the development of the BSS approach to meet BILD requirements with guidance from the BSS co-ordinator and PAC.
